In this article, we will explain in detail how you can pick up your package from USPS before delivery.

How to Pick Up Your Package from USPS Before Delivery

To pick a package from USPS before it gets delivered to your physical address, you have to follow the below steps:

Check if your Package can be Picked From USPS before delivery

If your package or post that you are expected to receive at your home or any other physical address has already been sent from the USPS office for delivery, then you can’t do anything in such a case. In this situation you can’t pick up the package from the USPS office, you have to wait for the package to arrive at your location in the coming few days.

To pick a package from the USPS office the first and most important thing is that, your package is still at the USPS office and has not been released yet to reach you. You can make sure of this by checking whether the package is still at the USPS office or not.

Inform USPS that You want to Pick Up Your Package from there

If you are looking to pick up your package from USPS then an important thing, that you should remember is that you should intimate them that you want to pick up your package from there. This is necessary for two reasons, first is that there is the unlimited possibility that your package is already released for delivery and second is that, the USPS may not agree to hand over the package to you without informing you.

There are three means by which you can inform USPS about your intention of picking up the package. We will explain these three ways later on in this post.
